Getting started
On first launch, a grown-up creates a player with a name, an age and a buddy. The age picks a math level from Pre-K to 5th grade. Open a game, then tap an answer on the number pad or tap Say it and say it out loud.
Common questions
LiliPad Math doesn't hear my child. Check that LiliPad Math is allowed to use the Microphone and Speech Recognition in the Settings app, and try again in a quiet room. Tapping the answer always works. If on-device listening isn't available on an older device, a grown-up can choose Apple speech service in Parent corner.
Can we play without the microphone? Yes. Every answer can be tapped. To hide the Say it button, turn off Say the answer in Parent corner.
The problems are too easy or too hard. In Parent corner, open the player and change their age, or choose a math level from Pre-K to 5th grade. Each level keeps its own place in every game.
The helper voice sounds robotic. Download an Enhanced or Premium English voice in Settings › Accessibility › Read & Speak › Voices. LiliPad Math uses the best English voice installed.
Does it work on iPhone Duo? Yes. LiliPad Math fills the outer display when the phone is closed and the large display when it's open, and adjusts when you fold, unfold or rotate it.
Does progress sync between devices? No. Progress stays on each device and is removed if the app is deleted.
